HIGH QUALITY CLOTHING
& TIMELESS DESIGN

Thanks to the quality and timeless design that River Woods stands for, we always stand out from fast fashion. At River Woods, we know that timeless, high-quality clothing lasts longer, and this is, of course, linked to a more sustainable price setting.

Our timeless essentials form the basis for an enduring wardrobe. For example, you undoubtedly know our basis men’s shirts, iconic polo shirts, basis merino knits and beloved bermudas and chinos as recurring elements in our collection.

However, we are aware that we need to do more. That’s why River Woods chooses natural materials such as linen, cotton (including ecocotton and pimacotton), merino wool* and more sustainably manufactured materials such as organic cotton, BCI cotton, recycled polyester, FSC viscose.

*did you know that merino wool comes from the merino sheep and there has 100% natural properties?

Our more sustainable women's items are now accompanied by a new ecofriendly label indicating that they are made from more sustainable materials such as organic cotton, BCI cotton, FSC viscose....

A word about these sustainable materials. Organic cotton is grown without the use of pesticides that pollute the soil and much less water consumption.

BCI cotton (BCI stands for Better Cotton Iniative) or in other words responsible cotton is a label aimed at making cotton production more sustainable from cotton farmer to finished product in social, environmental and economic terms. River Woods supports the BCI initiative and works with BCI certified partners.

Viscose is made from wood. FSC certified viscose is a more sustainable variant of viscose and comes from sustainably managed forests (FSC stands for Forest Stewardship Council). The FSC label provides this guarantee.

For several years River Woods has partnered with Thermore, a company that specializes in ecodown padding for nylon jackets. These items are identified by a hangtag.

Also vests made from recycled fiber. These items are identified by a hangtag.
